What are Vascular lesions and what is vein removal?
Vascular lesions are the result of numerous of large vessels. These lesions occur in many sizes, shapes and forms, all over the body. Vascular lesions don’t go away by themselves. Millions of women and men are troubled by unattractive spider veins on their faces and legs. The veins are estimated that more than 75% of females over the age of 18 have spider veins. These red, blue or purple thread-like lines may develop on any part of the body including the face, but most often appear on the thighs, calves or buttocks.
They are harmless and not associated with any symptoms and pain sensations.
Spider veins are typically caused by abnormal blood flow and weakening of the blood vessel wall.
How does it work?
The energy of laser is absorbed by the blood inside the veins which subsequently heats up the walls of the veins causing them to collapse and then dissolved by the bodies own immune system.
How long does the treatment last?
The treatment usually takes 15 – 30 minutes depending on the size and number of veins. Larger areas with more broken capillaries may need more treatments.
How many treatment do I need
The number of treatments needed varies however facial small blood vessels are removed completely after 1 treatment.
